Joyful flowering of children from Nias Island, Indonesia

Art is a universal language and a catalyst to unite people through action and expansion of thought.

"Art knows no nation, it favors no race, and it acknowledges no class. It speaks to our need to reveal, heal, and transform. It transcends our ordinary lives and lets us imagine what is possible."

Richard Kamler, artist and creator of the Seeing Peace Project

Setting aside time for creative outlets is helpful for maintaing an overall healthy state of being.  Whether it be through making art, playing music, dancing, writing, singing... unrestricted creativity has been shown to improve mental, physical, and emotional states.

Projects and Ideas

Each community is diverse, and therefore connecting with them on a personal level is the first order of action.  Then creating a dialogue about needs and desires will determine the course of projects implemented.  We listen and teach each other.
